Basic Hot Water Bottle Cover Pattern
There are many hot water bottle caps out there, but some are decorative rather than functional. If your lid is intact and you don’t risk burning your fingers, pricking the gaps in the crochet, and touching the open parts of the hot water bottle (especially children’s pinky fingers), this is the type of cover for you.
This model is pretty simple and a great starting point for designing and customizing your own hot water bottle caps. There is a guide on how to make a cap for the bottle that you have.
The basic stitches used in this pattern are chain, double crochet, half height, front posts half triple and back half triple (UK terms). The pattern does not include tutorials on how to create these stitches.

Cozy And Cuddly Hot Water Bottle Cover
A cozy and cute hot water bottle cap that’s thick enough to keep your toes warm even on the coldest winter nights. The Haworth looks a little antique, an old-fashioned touch. The finished comfort reminded me of reading the Brontë brothers’ classics – a must on a dark, snowy day – and so it was named after the quiet and charming village where they lived their lives.
The Haworth is one-piece, round, knitted bottom up. A button band on the back is operated with the help of a temporary cast and all comfort requires minimal finishing. The cable model is only provided in tabular form and the assembly instructions are fully written.
