Materials:

H/5mm crochet hook

18″ x 18″ pillow insert (you want the insert to be larger than the pillow covers)

Worsted weight yarn in white
Yarn for Font Color. I used Lion Brand Mandala yarn in Draco. I loved working with this yarn but because it’s a #3 weight I would recommend using a worsted weight variegated yarn like Bernat Pop.

Modern X Crochet Pillow Pattern

Materials:

Lily’s Sugar and Cream in Ecru (3 balls) and Black (1 1/2 balls) or other Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn in two colors. I find cotton gives this pillow nice structure and stitch definition. You could try acrylic, but I think it will lose some of the structure.
